Hi,

You can pursue BTech Automobile Engineering if you meet the admission requirements. First, you must complete your 10+2 with good grades. You must then take the SAT or ACT and TOEFL to be eligible to apply for the universities in the USA.

If you are poor in Mathematics then Engineering is the not the right branch for you. Even the universities will suggest you other courses based on your aptitude and scores. It is too early for you to discuss the salary. By the time you will graduate, the market trends will change. Concentrate on your academics now and do really well if you want to study and work abroad.

Hope this helps!

Hello, whether it's Automobile or any other branch, duration for Diploma is three years after 10th board. However as per National Education Policy, once a student gets admission, after 12th board, once the students complete two years, they will be entitled to receive diploma. Then they can either leave the course or continue the same for one or two more years, they will be entitled for higher recognition.

Best wishes

From my personal experience, placements in automobile engineering at Chandigarh University are definitely encouraging. The university has tie-ups with companies like Royal Enfield, TVS, Hyundai, and MG Motors, and I've seen friends get into some of these names straight from campus. What makes it special is how CU trains you before placements – workshops, internships, and constant guidance from the career cell really prepare you. Even students who wanted to explore new areas like electric vehicles found opportunities through CU's industry connections. It felt motivating to see classmates land their dream jobs, and it gave me the confi

The selection criteria for BTech Automobile Engineering include both Class 12 merit and valid entrance exam scores. No doubt various top Automobile Engineering colleges ask for valid entrance exam scores with competitive cutoffs but you will find several colleges offering admission on the basis of Class 12 board exam marks.

In the case of merit-based admissions, colleges usually conduct extra rounds like the GD/PI, following which merit lists and counseling rounds take place. To get more clarity on the selection criteria at your preferred colleges, you should check their official websites or get in touch with the college helpdesk.
