The eligibility criteria of B.A. (Hons) Economics of JMI is given below.
Eligibility: B.A. (Hons) Economics/ B.A. (Bachelor of Business Administration)
Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers. So, Mathematics is not mandatory in 12th as per Prospectus 2021-22.

Shyam Lal College, Delhi is a good institute but not exceptional, if its prospects are compared with various other colleges. However, the economics department alone can be a good choice if you are opting for Shyam Lal College. Now, the faculty members are good but it is essential that you study as per your pace and competence, without depending upon the professors. Shyam Lal College can be a good choice only if you are devoid of any other options to go for. The highest salary package usually offered is 30-32 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3-3.5 LPA. Most of them are clustered with a salary package around 7-8 LPA.
