Candidates are required to keep the following information in mind while appearing for PUBDET counselling round:
- Candidate’s credentials will be verified at the counselling centre.
- Aspirants need to appear in-person at their counselling centre.
- Credentials of candidates eligible for counselling and admission will be verified on stipulated dates, which will notified to the candidates.
- The Presidency University quota will be applicable for candidates who have qualified their BA/BSc (honors) degree through regukar examination of the university as per merit.
- Admission through non-PU quota will be based on the rank secured in PUBD

Yes. Candidates can choose the exam centre the nearest to them. However, candidates are advised that once the application form is submitted, the candidate can not change their exam centre so be careful.The allocation of the PUBDET exam centres was based on the choices gave by the candidate during the online form fill up. However, the centre mentioned will be final and no changes will be made. No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under normal circumstances.

For the upcoming academic session, PUBDET application form was released online and not in offline mode on February 15, 2024. Notably, candidates can check the steps to know about PUBDET application form filling here.
- After successfully registering, candidates can fill the application form by entering information such as personal details such as domicile, category, PwD status, home district, family income status, religion, nationality etc. Academic qualifications of class X and XII details also need to be filled in.

Yes. PUBDET is conducted by the Presidency University in order to offer candidates admission in Humanities and Science streams at the undergraduate level. PUBDET comprises separate entrance exams that are conducted to offer admission to aspirants in different Science and humanities programmes offered at Presidency University at the undergraduate level. While appearing for PUBDET exam, candidates can apply for a maximum of any two subjects.

You must first register and fill the application form to appear for the PUBDET exam. You must visit the official website of WBJEEB to fill and apply for PUBDET. In the application form, you are required to fill important information like personal details (name, parent's name, category, contact information, etc.) and academic details (mark sheets, transfer certificate, etc.). Admission to the BA (Hons) programmes at BHU is based on CUET-UG scores. Only the students with a valid score on this exam are admitted by the university. The entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Moreover, CUET-UG exam was is usually held in May. Candidates must download their admit card on time to take the test.
