Hi, there are only 6 distance BA colleges in Kolkata of which 2 colleges are owned privately and 1 college is owned by the government. Admission to majority of these colleges are done on merit basis. These colleges offer various specialisations in distance mode like English, Urdu, Criminology, Public Administration, Economics, History, Languages, Political Science, Sociology, etc. NSOU, St. Peter's College, Vaishno Devi Institute of Studies and Vidyasaathi are the top distance BA colleges in Kolkata.

Admission to the BA programme at  Biyani College of Science and Management is done through merit in Class 12. Candidates must apply online and upload necessary documents. A merit list is prepared based on eligibility and marks. Selected students must confirm admission by paying the course fee.

Candidates applying for the BA course at Biyani College of Science and Management must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 48%. The board of study must be recognised by the university. Applicants must meet this eligibility to be considered. Admission will be based on Class 12 performance.

Central University of South Bihar CUET cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to various UG courses. The cutoff has been released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff scores varied between 30 and 360.15

Among the OBC AI category candidates, the closing scores varied between 21 and 334.95

JNU BA (Hons) cutoff 2025 was between the range of 59.28 and 74.4, among the General All India category candidates. The cutoff range was between the range of 59.8 and 69.64, for various BA (Hons) specialisations. Among the SC AI category candidates, cutoff ranks varied between 52.51 and 65.58.

Yes, getting admission into JNU with 70 score is possible. The cutoff was released for different categories of the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 33.8 to 74.4. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the range of cutoff was between 29.16 and 69.64. With this cutoff range, it is definitely possible to get admission to the college.
