Yes, students enrolled in the BA courses at Pondicherry University have to study two types of core courses, hard and soft. Theard-core courses are mandatory to be studied and cannot be changed. Students can choose soft-core courses as per their interests. Some of the core subjects included in the BA (H) curriculum at Pondicherry University are:

According to the information available on the official website of the St Paul College, there are certain pointers about the fee refund policy of BA courses at St Paul College: 

  • Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • The students shall keep the 'Student Copy' of the payment challan for future reference.

No, CUET UG exam is not mandatory for admission to BA Philosophy courses in government and private colleges of India. 

Most of the admissions to undergarduate course in Philopsophy in colleges of India is based on Class 12 merit, but some of the popular colleges in India ask for entrance exam scores for admission.

Most common entrance exams for BA Philosophy admission are CUET UG, SAT India, PUBDET, etc. Students must check the college admission policy before applying.

With the application form for the BA course at St. Paul's College, one duplicate of each of the following documents has to be produced. During the admission interview, all originals, along with one set of photocopies of the same, have to be brought:

  • Transfer Certificate from School last attended
  • Class 10, and Certificate
  • CLASS 12 or Certificate
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Migration Certificate in the case of students who have passed any exam other than the Karnataka PU Exam.
  • SC/ ST/ Backward Class Minority Certificate from Tahasildar.
