Azim Premji University offers BA courses for four years. Further, divided into eight semesters, the university offers six specialisations in BA courses, namely- BA in Economics, BA in English, BA in History, BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, BA in Philosophy, and BA in Social Science. To get admission into these courses, candidates must complete their Class 12 from the relevant stream and must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, candidates must have appeared and secured relevant scores in any of the entrance exams- CUET/ SAT/ in-house entrance exam.

It is totally fine to pursue two different courses simultaneously through different modes, Only thing is that you have to take care of Institutes recognition . Both institutes should be approved by the government and follow all the guidlines set by the government. if you want to do higher studies, Some institutes may not allow you to study because you pursued two courses together. You should always check for it.

For the D.C.B girls college, Jorhat, Assam, admissions has been closed. Admission timeline almost starts 6 months before the academic year begins. Application period for the B.A. and B.Sc. programs begins in May and concludes in June. You can go for the admissions for the year 2026. Admissions will start from May 2025.

Every state defines unique requirements to become eligible for BTC (Basic Training Certificate) or D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education). The admission criteria require 50% marks in graduation from BA/B.Sc./B.Com. for the General/OBC category but SC/ST candidates need only 45%.
Your eligibility for admission depends on whether the admission criteria accept postgraduate marks and your scores of 45% in BA and 69% in MA.

Exam details
The IIHM eCHAT is an online entrance exam for students who want to study hotel management at IIHM.
The exam is objective type and has multiple-choice questions.
The application fee for the IIHM eCHAT is INR 600.

At Runax Instuite Runax Institute the aspirng candidates must have passed Class 12 from an accredited board with a minimum percentage in order to be accepted for the BA programme at Runax Institute. The specific eligibility requirements may vary depending on the specialisation chosen.

No, Azim Premji University does not accept the CUET UG scores only for admissions to BA courses. The university offers six specialisations in BA courses, from which some of the BA specialisations might accept CUET scores only. However, the university also accepts valid SAT scores for admissions to BA courses.
Moreover, candidates whose Class 12 results are awaited and who want to take admissions to BA courses can apply through the university-in-house-entrance exam. Hence, APU Bangalore does accept the scores of the CUET/SAT/in-house entrance exam for BA courses.

The selection criteria of Azim Premji University can slightly vary depending on the applied BA course. For some of the BA programmes, the university accepts (CUET UG) scores/ SAT scores. Additionally, for some of the BA courses, APU Bangalore accepts the scores of its in-house-university level entrance examination. This in-house entrance is mainly for those candidates, whose Class 12 results are awaited and who can apply for BA courses through the Class 11 result and can appear in this examination. Further, for the selection process candidates should appear for PI.

It is tough to compare which university is easier to get admission into for BA courses among Azim Premji University and Christ University. Both of the universities are privately owned and have similar reputations in Bangalore. However, if we compare the admission process, APU Bangalore accepts the scores of the CUET and SAT entrance examinations for admission to BA courses, and Christ University offers admission on the basis of the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET), Micro Presentation (MP), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

The total tuition fee for BA courses at Azim Premji University is INR 13.1 lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BA courses at Joseph University ranges from INR 90,000 to INR 4 lakh. Hence, it clearly can be seen that St. Joseph University is more affordable than Azim Premji University for BA courses. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing institutes, but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best university/ college, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.
