Patna University offers only 66 seats in its BA programme but Magadh University provides 360 BA courses. This is due to the fact that Magadh University has more affiliated colleges for the BA programme than Patna University. If we look at TMBU, the university also provides 300 seats for its BA programme.

Yes, Patna University reserves seats for different categories for BA programmes, the reservation categories typically include SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), OBC (Other Backward Classes), and EWS (Economically Weaker Sections). There is also relaxation for physically handicapped candidates. Patna University provides 1,202 seats in its BA programme. These seats are provided across various specialisations and across affiliated colleges of the university. Bihar National College offers the most amount of seats for the BA programme with 600 seats.
