B.A. fees can be related to MAFSU because it does not offer such forms of education as a traditional B.A. Those fees, like B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc., will be of state veterinary university standard.

A five-year B.V.Sc. has tuition from around INR 15,000-25,000 to INR 75,000-1,25,000. In addition, hostel fees will be around INR 10,000-15,000 each year, INR 2,000-3,000 for exams, and INR 1,000-2,000 for the registration fee at the first time totaling around INR 1,00,000-1,50,000 overall. This is very cheap when comparing it to private colleges that charge upwards of INR 5,00,000.

For a hypothetical B.A., being state norms around INR 10,000-20,000 per annum for fees would probably be the case, except that MAFSU does not provide it, and thus, this is speculative. 

Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Science University (MAFSU) has a very different scope from the erstwhile B.A. traditional model. It does not comprehend much more ordinary forms of a B.A.

It is into more programs like B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.F.Sc., and B.Tech (Dairy Technology). It is not the appropriate place for a B.A.; the movement of arts is better at conventional universities like Mumbai University. This is a niche that MAFSU has. This is where you expect it to be strong in terms of faculty and research in animal sciences.

 The general B.A. scope is completely different from this university. Its name remains in 2025 favorably in technical areas and not in the negative arts; hence cannot serve this purpose.

B.A. in music (Western contemporary music from NMIMS School of Performing Arts, Mumbai), among other things, is going to be quite heavy on the pocket.

The tuition fees for the three-year programme amount to almost INR 3,00,000 a year, which comes to a whopping INR 9,00,000. Other costs comprise registration fees-initially INR 10,000-20,000-instrument or studio charges of INR 20,000-50,000 annually, and expenses incurred on living in Mumbai, being between INR 2,00,000-3,00,000 yearly for hostel and food.

 Hence, the entire fee is likely to cost from INR 12,00,000-15,00,000 for three years. NM because of being private and also specialized, in this case, costs much more. Unlike government universities, where arts degrees cost anything from INR 50,000 to INR 1,00,000 total, this investment should reflect modern facilities and connect to the industry.

The seats for the BA programme at LD Arts College number at about 200-300 which are in conformity with Gujarat University's norms of capacity allowed for affiliated colleges. Precise figures would depend on specializations established; many seats are going to follow popular trends in terms of number of seats, i.e., English or Psychology will distinguish itself by 60-80 each, while the lesser popular ones like Sociology and History would go 40-60 each.

Seats may increase if pressure grows, rooted in faculty or infrastructure. Withdrawal percentages from these and other reserve category students (OBCs/SCs/STs) allocated by the government account for close to fifty percent of the total intake. 

LD Arts College, affiliated with Gujarat University, does not have a stringent entrance exam requirement for the BA course. Entry is more based on merit and one's 10+2 percentage from recognised boards-CBSE/ISC/Gujarat Board. Differs as General category students typically have 60-65%, while reserve categories like SC/ST/OBC could go in the range of 50-60% based on past cut-off marks.

There will not be any standardized tests like the one conducted in CUET in 2024, and things may change in a later date. The selection majorly is dependent on the performance in arts or related subjects, with the requirement of passing the final year. This provision indicates that the admission process is quite simple

The latest cutoff for open merit BA admissions at LD Arts College in 2024, based on the merit system of Gujarat University, was 60-65% for general category students in the 10+2 examination.

In reserved categories like OBC, cutoff marks were set around 55-60% with SC/ST having a range of 50-55% whichever the cut was from the stream (Arts, Commerce). Such figures are past trends as the particulars for 2024 are not fully available yet.

The cutoffs fluctuate depending on the total number of applicants and number of seats available (usually 200-300 seats). For 2025 similar ranges can be expected, but final lists will be dependent on the board result and merit computation, which will be declared in mid-year.
