Sarala Birla Univeristy BA (Hons) fees for various specialisations are presented in the table below:

The eligibility criteria for Sarala Birla University BA (Hons) courses is listed below:
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in Class 12 from a recognised board in India.
- A relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks is given to candidates belonging to ST/SC category.
- To be eligible for admission to BA (Hons) in Economics, candidates must have studied Mathematics/Computers/Statistics/Accountancy/Banking/ Business Studies/Economics as one of the subjects in Class 12.
- Students awaiting the declaration of their Class 12 results can also apply. However, they have to submit the relevant supportive documents at the time of admission.

The minimum score needed in Class 12 to be admitted to IEC University's BA programmes varies depending on the course a candidate is applying for and the yearly competition. To be eligible for BA programmes, candidates are usually required to have received at least 45% in their Class 12 exams. However, the number of applicants and the number of seats available in the course will determine the merit list that the university releases. So, to improve the chances to get selected in the course, candidates are suggested to score good in their higher senior secondary.

IEC University offers several types of scholarships to BA students based on their financial condition, higher senior secondary and other criteria. The students with 85% or above in Class 12 will get special concessions as their first semester fees will be remitted. For other scholarships apart from merit, there could be additional requirements based on socioeconomic status or special categories such as reserved categories.

The Merit Scholarship at IEC University is purely based on the student's performance in the qualifying exam exams. A student who has scored more than 85% in Class 12 can take advantage of this scholarship programme. The scholarships are provided for first-year students only.

IEC University has 120 seats available for BA programmes, while Himachal Pradesh University has 5,887 seats. Hence, HPU offers the most seats for BA programmes. This may be because many colleges and institutions are affiliated with HPU, and the seats listed here are available from the university and its affiliated colleges.

The tuition fees for BA courses at IEC range from INR 66,000 - 72,000, and the tuition fee for BA at Bahra University is INR 1.2 lakh. Conclusively, the tuition fees of IEC University are more affordable compared to Bahra University. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing universities and colleges but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best institution, such as placement packages, seats, available specialisation, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.

Yes, IEC University does offer internships to BA courses, as per the official statistics of placements it shows that 90 students get internships from the BA, BSc and MBA courses. Even the university's training and placements cell caters to all the requirements of industrial visits, training and finally the placements of all the students. However, the duration of internship periods is not mentioned on the official website of the university.
