Sarala Birla University BA (Hons) is structured in accordance with the UGC guidelines. BA (Hons) at the university is a full-time undergraduate programme of three years. The course duration is divided into six semesters. In each semester, students have to study core and elective subjects related to their chosen specialisation. The curriculum is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). Some subjects included in the course curriculum are Indian Classical Literature, European Classical Literature, British Poetry & Drama, Women's Writing, Public Speaking, etc.

Sarala Birla University has not released any official report on BA (Hons) placements. According to the SBU student reviews on Shiksha.com,  the highest package offered in 2022 was INR 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Commando Industrial Security Force, Kredit Foundation, and Sacstak. Almost 60% of students got placed in the same year. BA (Hons) students provided a four-star rating (out of five) to BA (Hons) placements at Sarala Birla University.

Sarala Birla University offers BA (Hons) in three specialisations. The admission process and eligibility criteria for these specialisations are the same. The admission process starts with the application process. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they are eligible for admission. Sarala Birla University BA (Hons) application process is incomplete without attaching the required documents. While filling out the application form, applicants must attach the copies of the following certificates/documents:

  • Passing/Provisional Certificates of the qualifying examination (Class 12)
  • Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination (Class 12)
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Conduct Certificate 
  • Anti-Ragging Affidavit 
  • Medical Certificate issues by a registered medical practitioner (MBBS)

No, Sarala Birla University BA admissions 2024 have already been concluded. However, the application window for admissions to the academic year 2025-26 is now open. Candidates seeking admission to the BA (Hons) courses for the academic year 2025-26 can visit the university's official website to submit an application. As of now, they university has not specified the last date to apply. The admission process is expected to continue till September 2025.

No, BA aspirants of Sarala Birla University (SBU) are not required to take any entrance exam for admission. BA admission at the university is strictly merit-based.
