Yes, there is indeed a difference between the two. BMC (Bachelor of Mass Communication) basically covers a broader spectrum of media that also includes journalism, advertising, public relations, filmmaking, and digital media.

On the other hand, BA in Journalism & Mass Communication gives more focus to reporting, news production, and editorial work. BMC is slightly more practical and versatile, while BA Journalism & Mass Communication is journalism-centric.

The minimum eligibility for BA at Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University is scoring 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 with relevant stream. Selection to BA courses are merit based. The university doesn't conduct any entrance exam for admission to the same.
