RTMNU BA admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024 and candidates seeking admission to the BA at RTMNU must qualify the Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised board. Therefore, Class 12 marks are enough for admission to the BA programme.

RTMNU BA admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024. The admissions are based on marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 examination. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised board can get admission to the BA programme.

Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination from any recognised board from any stream (science/ humanities/ commerce) or equivalent examination recognised by Manipur University are eligible for admission to the BA course at Manipur University. As per the admission guidelines its is stated that candidates must appear for the Common University Entrance Test (a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA) for admission to the BA course at Manipur University.
