There are over 49,000 seats at the University of Delhi colleges offering BA/BA (Hons) programmes. The seats are allotted based on merit in the CUET exam. Each college has a different seat count. The following table mentions institute-wise seat intake:

There are a total of 49,080 seats for the BA and BA (Hons) courses at the University of Delhi. The seat count varies from one college to another. Moreover, the maximum number of BA seats are available at Gargi College - 5,287. The seat intake for some of the DU colleges for BA/BA (H) is mentioned below:

Many colleges of the University of Delhi provide hostel facilities to the students. However, it is not available at all the colleges. Additionally, the hostel seats are limited and shall be allotted to the students based on merit only. DU BA hostel fees ranges from INR 15,600 to INR 5.4 lakh. This fee range includes the hostel fee at different colleges of the university.
Moreover, this fee amount is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. The authorities also reserve the rights to revise the fees in any academic year.

No, the University of Delhi does not have a provision for direct admissions. Candidates seeking admission to the UG-level programme are required to take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply and appear for the national-level examination. The results are then announced based on candidates' scores.

For admission to a BA/BA (Hons) programme at the University of Delhi, aspirants need to have a valid score of CUET. Hence, the aspirants fulfilling the eligibility requirements need to fill out CUET application available on the NTA official website. The exam fees range from INR 800 to INR 4,500. While filling out the application, students must enter the college and course preferences carefully. After the exam results are out, aspirants are required to register on the DU CSAS portal as well. In this registration, students need to select the final college and course selection.

Delhi University allot seats in its colleges based on the applicants scores in the CUET exam. Earlier, the cutoff was made available in public domain. However, now it can be checked by logging into the DU CUET portal. For students reference, the DU BA cutoff 2025 for some of the DU colleges is mentioned:

Amity Mumbai offers an in-house scholarships for its UG course. The scholarships are offered based on the candidates performance in the last qualifying exam. Find below the eligibility for the UG scholarships:
- Students who has scored at least 95% and above aggregate in Class 12 CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards (2023/ 2022/ 2021) are eligible for the scholarships.
