As per the internet, BA at PU is offered across Economics, History, Sociology and Psychology specialisation, among others. However, students must select the specialisation on the basis of their interest and past academic background and not on the basis of its popularity. While all these specialisations are offered at PU-affiliated colleges, students can pursue BA (Hons) and BA (Hons) in Economics courses from the main campus of Panjab University. Candidates seeking admission to the BA or BA (Hons) course at Panjab University must have an aggregate of up to 60% in Class 12. The last date for UG application at Panjab University 26 June which started on June 2. Candidates selected after all the course-specific selection rounds are required to confirm their admission by paying the admission fee between July 21 and Aug 7. This is as per the official handbook of admission released by Panjab University for the academic year 2023. Yes, Panjab University offers a three-year undergraduate BA or Bachelor of Arts course in both regular and distance modes via its constituent/ affiliated colleges. The course is offered in both part-time modes, under distance learning and on a full-time basis. The screening process considers marks secured in the last qualifying exam and no entrance is conducted by PU for admission to this course. A course-wise placements report has not been released by the university as of now. However, the JNU NIRF report 2023 is out. As per the report, in the 2022 placements drive for UG 3-year courses, a total of 21 students were placed out of 353 students while 332 students were selected for higher studies. Yes, JNU offers foreign languages under its BA (Hons) programmes such as Arabic, Chinese, French and German among others. JNU offers a three-year full-time BA (Hons) course in English. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University to apply for CUET-UG. Based on CUET-UG scores, JNU will release a merit list of selected candidates to appear for the CUET-UG counselling process for seat allotment.
