MBA is an old version for those wishing to pursue management studies, a two-year Diploma course PGDM, Post Graduate Diploma in Management sounds better. Generally, the PGDM course is far more industry-relevant and practical as far as the job market is concerned. But mind you An MBA is a degree and a PGDM is a Diploma. MBA is a conventional degree that will help you qualify to write competitive exams for Government jobs, a PGDM will help you in charting a corporate career. MBA is a degree that is given by any specific university like Mumbai university or Pune university but PGDM is like an autonomous institute that is AICTE approved.
