SAP is the most successful ERP package, having a huge demand and scope since almost 80+ of giant & mid-sized companies are implemented SAP & running successfully, including Fortune 500 Firms. So, think better & choose the right one, because it's your career, you have to lead it. It is like how much you can learn the SAP rather looking on completion of SAP. You never learn the full SAP even you spend your life time, hope you can just complete the 10-20% of it. If you strongly decided to go with SAP, then think of SAP Functional Modules like SAP FI, CO, SD, and MM etc. Learn the R/3 process from the very basics to real time scenarios on your interested SAP Functional Module. In Simple, anyone can learn SAP Functional Modules & prior work experiences are helpful to learn SAP Technical Modules like SAP ABAP, Programming. Mostly people having domain experiences like in Purchasing or Inventory or Production will ahead to SAP ERP or else, people working as SAP MM end-users will move to SAP MM Consultant Level. SAP Functional Modules:
SAP FI, SAP SD, SAP FI, SAP PP, SAP PS, Andhra Pradesh WM etc. , like BE Mechanical Guy can choose SAP MM, MBA guy can go etc. , if having relevant experience in Purchasing or Inventory/Warehouse or SAP MM End-Users means, added value to go ahead. SAP Technical Modules:
SAP ABAP, SAP BASIS, SAP Netwaver, SAP HANA, it ideally needs some relevant IT Experiences to get going. Every module in SAP has its own demand & uniqueness. The thing is you should upgrade yourself to the updated technologies, like if you work under SAP MM, and should establish your skills into WM, EWM etc., if you are in ABAP then go ahead with HANA etc. To stand unique & to sustain in the field.
