Both the courses are different and have different pros and cons. The Polytechnic courses started to provide employment at the age of 18. Initially, students who wanted to start earning early to support the family used to opt for these courses. But this trend has changed over the years. Regards.

Do not lose your hope apply for the course in which you want to enroll, there are many colleges where the admission is based on counselling and personal interview.
