Surely, you can benefit out of BCom. But, tune yourself to the career from the beginning. The problem is always in doing something half-hearted. Moreover, we have to go after chances. Chances don't come to us.

BCom will restrict you job opportunities to Finance & Accounting only but BBA from a reputed college will give you more opportunities in different industries in different management functions.

Yes u can do that but I would suggest you to take a pg diploma in travel n tourism through regular mode to get an idea of this sector. You may also try internships in travel companies to understand the nature of work.

Majority of syllabus of BCom(P) and BCom(Hons) is same. BCom(P) gives an overview of various subject where same course in Hons has more depth and content. In BCom(P) you cannot specialise but in Honours degree student can specialise. BCom(Hons) is now a de-facto a standard accepted degree for jobs. Cut off for BCom (Hons) is higher in comparison to B Com(Pass)

You can get following jobs after BCom:
(a) Finance & Accounting department in a Business enterprise.
(b) Government ( Centre & State) / PSU jobs where eligibility criteria is graduation.
(c) Public sector Banks PO and Clerical services
(d) Defense Services & Para Military Forces.
(e) Teaching job in schools.
