The basic eligibility criteria for admission is: Any Graduate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category) in any discipline from any recognized University is eligible to apply for admission into the two year programme. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the bachelor's degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply.
The admission process:
ASBM follows three stages in the admission process as per AICTE guidelines –
(1) Valid score card of National level Management Test like CAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / MAT
(2) Group Discussion
(3) Personal Interview
The candidates can obtain ASBM application form along with the information bulletin on payment of Rs. 950/- (Rupees Nine Hundred Fifty Only) from our corporate office or campus. Application form can also be downloaded from our website at www.asbm.ac.in. The fee has to be paid by Bank Draft drawn in favour of “Asian School of Business Management” payable at Bhubaneswar or by online.
Candidates seeking admission to our Post Graduate Programmes will have to qualify either in CAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / MAT. Based on the performance in CAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / MAT and past academic performance, the candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection of candidate to the programme will be based on the performance of the candidate in GD & PI.

Firstly my best wishes with you for preparation for CAT exam. Believe in yourself, you can do it and build will power, learn to manage tome, study specific then self-access each topic wise, identify gaps, fill gaps, move on. Complete your syllabus and Mock tests. These are some key points to success. CATS mainly tests your concepts with speed and accuracy. It has limited curriculum, so do not leave anything. It is computer based, you may be required to practice on computers. You can divide your study in two steps: step 1 and step 2. In this Step 1, set your fundamental. Do mastery on each topic chapter wise. Divide your curriculum into short objectives. Start QA, DI & DS, VA simultaneously. In step 2. You should study with good books. Make a time management time table as 90 minutes for Maths, 30 minutes for Reasoning and Logic, 45 minutes for Data sufficiency and Data interpretation, 30 minutes for English Proficiency and usage, 45 minutes for reading comprehension. And after this, must do self-assessment. Move from simple topics to complex and excel step by step. BOOKS: Maths: NCERT books class 8th to 10th, Qualitative Aptitude for CAT by NIshit Sinha, Pearson publication, Quantitative Aptitude for CAT by Arun Sharma. Tata MC Grew HILL, Higher Algebra Hall and Knight, Aptitude and data Interpretation by Vivek Gupta and Sandeep Amar, DATA INTERPRETATION: by Edger Thorpe, / Robert M Johnson, ENGLISH: High school grammar by WREN and Martin, Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis, Business English and Communication by Clark Grade C. I'm sorry to inform you that you at least need 70%le in CAT. A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September - 2015 or December 2015 OR a composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2015 OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission test (CMAT 2015) OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Admission test 2015 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) OR 70 percentage or above in the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2015 And 50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the semesters / years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2016 are also eligible to apply.
