Yes, Himachal Pradesh University reserves some seats for students belonging to Himachal Pradesh. The total management seats will be 10% of the seats for Himachali Bonafide candidates. The admissions of the candidates of Bonafide of Himachal Pradesh under 85% seats to B.Ed. course in all the Institutions/Colleges will be made strictly in order of merit of the entrance test. Below is reservation criteria of HPU:

The total tuition fee for Himachal Pradesh University B.Ed ranges between INR 19,200 and INR 2.4 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Once the aspirants are shortlisted, they need to pay a programme fee to confirm their seat in the university. Apart from the tuition fee, aspirants also need to pay an application fee of INR 1,100 (INR 550 for SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped candidates) for B.Ed entrance exam.

Candidates applying for Himachal Pradesh University B.Ed have to pass a minimum of Class 12. There is relaxation in the eligibility criteria for SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped candidates. Below is detailed eligibility for HPU B.Ed programme:
- Aspirants need to complete bachelor's degree (Medical/ Non-Medical/ Commerce/ Arts) or master's degree in Science/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce or bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate or 5.51 CGPA or Grade B+ (45% aggregate or 4.51 CGPA for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped candidates) to apply for B.Ed course.
