Yes, IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus offers sports scholarships to BJMC students. The eligibility criteria to get this scholarship are that candidates' must have won prizes/ranks/medals or have represented at the state, national, or international level or have represented games and sports (athletics, etc.). Candidates who get this sports scholarship, get a concession on a tuition fee of INR 15,000.

Yes, if any applicant has secured more than 80% in their Class 12, they are eligible to get the IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus BJMC Academic Excellence Award. In this award, candidates will get INR 25,000 as a scholarship in terms of concession on tuition fees. The Institute does not specify any stream specification to get this scholarship. Hence, candidates with more than 80% in their Class 12, irrespective of stream specification, can apply for this scholarship.

Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication at IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus is offered for three years, and the course curriculum is spread across the six semesters. The first semester consists of elective and core subjects; the names of the offered subjects are as follows:

For applying to the BJMC course at IMS Ghaziabad, candidates must complete the basic eligibility criteria first; then candidates are required to fill out the application, followed by paying the application fee. On the basis of candidates' achieved scores in Class 12. The institute will release a merit list. Selected candidates can secure a seat after paying the adequate amount of course fee. At the time of filling out the application form online, candidates are required to attach several documents in the soft-copy. Moreover, at the time of admission confirmation for BJMC courses at IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus, candidates must carry the following documents for verification: 

  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheet
  • Class 10 and Class 12 passing certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Class 12 board examination admit card
  • Transfer Certificate for UP Board students
  • Migration Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Gap Year Certificate (if applicable)

The refund policy for all coures including BJMC is same at DPG Degree College. As per the official prospectus, candidates are not eligible for any refund of tuition fees and other charges paid for the year, they are non-refundable. Moreover, it must be noted that the mentioned DPGDC refund policy is sourced from the official website/sanctioned body. However, it is still subject to change.

To get admission for BJMC at DPG Degree College the selection is based on the Class 12 merit. Candidates are shortlisted based on the scores obtained in the last qualifying exam. They must have completed their higher senior secondary with a minimum aggregate of 45% in any stream from a recognised board. However, the college may offer direct admission for the BJMC course. Upon selection, those who are shortlisted need to present the required documents to prove their eligibility.
