The eligibility criteria for GME at B.P Marine Academy is minimum marks of 50% in final year in following courses:
(a) All full time B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and its streams
(b) Naval Architecture and its streams
(c) Any 5 year Integrated M.E/ M.Tech degree based on above qualifications.
The selection criteria is merit based with the academy acceptingscores of the above mentioned streams for selection.

There is no provision of direct admission for BSc at BP Marine Acdemy Belapur under any specialisation. Candidates will be required to take an entrance test and Psychometric Test and clear these selection process to get shortlisted. - Certificate Course in Maritime Catering (CCMC)

There are a total of two specialsiations offered at BP Marine Academy Belapur for the BSc course and they are as follows:
- B.Sc. Nautical Science
- B.Sc Hospitality studies
