The course curriculum include practical subjects to ensure students get hands-on knowledge of the subject. It helps in understanding and makes students industry ready. Some of the practical subjects included in the JIS University BPharm course curriculum are:

The JIS University BPharm curriculum has semester-wise subject details. It includes both theory and practical subjects. Students also have to submit a project work in the last semester of the programme. The topics covered in the first semester are:

• Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry
• Communication Skills
• Remedial Biology/Remedial Mathematics

The JIS University cutoff list is prepared as per the JIS University Entrance Test (JET)/WBJEE exam. In 2023, the closing rank in the last round was 91848 for the general all-India category. Students with a rank better or equal to the cutoff become eligible for admission. The cutoff varies every year as it depends upon factors such as the number of applicants, exam scores, and seat availability.

The university admit candidates based on merit in JIS University Entrance Test (JET) or WBJEE. JET is conducted in the month of Aug/Sep. Candidates must apply for the exam before the prescribed deadline. Moreover, the WBJEE 2025 application form is expected to be out in Dec and the test can be conducted in Apr month of the admission year.

To apply for the KIT Kanpur BPharm scholarship, candidates are required to follow certain steps first, visit the official website of the college, go to the home page> click on scholarship portal> go on UP government scholarship portal> in the right corner of the webpage search the scholarship with its name>read about the eligibility criteria of scholarship> fill out the application form of scholarships with all the subordinate documents qualifying the eligibility criteria of that particular scholarship. 

There are a total of 10 seats in JIS University for the BPharm (lateral) course. The seat allotment process for this course is based on JIS University Entrance Test (JET) score. JIS may follow the guidelines of the state or central government for seat reservation. Moreover, it must be noted that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The total fee for JIS University BPharm courses is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fee, caution money, and more. A few of these components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. JIS Bpharm tuition fee amount is INR 6.69 lakh and for BPharm (lateral) course is INR 4.03 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The university provide placements support to the students. JIS University also organises internship programmes. As per verified student reviews on Shiksha, the highest package offered has stood at INR 7 LPA and the lowest is INR 3 LPA. Many top pharmacy companies also participate in its placements drive, such as Tornado, Sun Pharma, MacLeod, etc. 

All applicants need to do is fulfil the eligibility requirements to ensure a seat in the KIT Kanpur BPharm programme, which includes gaining a decent score in their Class 12 Science stream. Additionally, applicants must appear in CUET UG and secure a decent score in the entrance examination.

JIS University BPharm admission is made based on merit in the JIS University Entrance Test (JET)/WBJEE. To be eligible for the course, aspirants must be Class 12 with 60% aggregate with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology as the additional subject from a recognised Central/ State Board or its equivalent. The eligible students can further visit the official website to register and apply for admission. A merit list is released to declare the names of the selected students.
