Yes, you can get lateral entry to 2nd year of B.Pharm at Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi, if you've completed D.Pharm successfully. Admission is generally through Direct Second Year Diploma to Degree (D2D) CAP round, conducted by DTE Maharashtra. You'll need your D.Pharm mark sheets, transfer certificate, and other essentials for admission.

Transferring your BPharma college in the 2nd year is possible, but not common and subject to both colleges' approval, university policies, seat availability, and regulatory guidelines. Generally, transfer applications must be supported by valid reasons and academic records. It is easier within universities or among affiliated colleges. You should apply at the earliest, as such requests are time-bound and subject to rigorous verification.

As per the MMMUT overall placement statistics for 2025, the highest and average packages offered to students participating in the placement drive stood at INR 48 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. Other than this, as per the report, over 100 recruiters participated in 2025 placements and offered over 900 jobs.
