Some of these institutions include the institutions which offer B.Sc in Bioinformatics or any other related programme in Delhi. Among them is the Jamia Millia Islamia and Jamia Hamdard. The University of Delhi has a Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility at the Gargi College, Delhi although it mainly covers and compliments the current existing Science related courses, but there may be some colleges in the university offering it in the form of Bi.Sc. No, there is no BSc Bioinformatics course in Stella Mary's College for 2025-2026 but they do offer a M.Sc in Bioinformatics course in Stella Mary's College for 2025-2026. For B.Sc, you have to look for other colleges for BSc Bioinformatics course.

To get admitted to the BSc Bioinformatics programme at Jamia Milia Islamia you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria which typically involves passing the 10 + 2 examination with the minimum of 50% marks in physics chemistry and Biology and then appear for and qualify in the jmi entrance exam

To get into a BSc Bioinformatics programme in India you will generally need to appear for the cuet common University entrance test some colleges may also accept score from other entrance exam or offer admission based on merit in your 12th board exams

There are 9 colleges in Gujarat which offers Bsc in bioinformatics. There are both government and pvt colleges for this course. Govt colleges like Gujarat University, Gujarat technological University ( GTU), Sardar patel University (SPU) provides course in bioinformatics. Pvt colleges such as Navrachana University, Parul University, Chrust college, GFSC university, Natubhai v patel college of pure and applied science, M.G Science institute are the pvt colleges where you can apply for B.Sc in bioinformatics.

Bioinformatics is a Science that collects and analyzes complicated biological data such as genetic coding. It combines biology, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, and computer science. There isn't much information regarding government colleges that provide a B.Sc. in Bioinformatics study, but here are some of the best institutes in India that do:

No you need a strong background in Biology to pursue a BSc in Bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field that combines biology, computer science, mathematics, physics and statistics. The basic requirement of BSc Bioinformatics admission are to have PCB subjects in Class 12.

Hi, if you want to get admission to a BSc in Bioinformatics program, you will need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects. However, having Maths can be a cherry on top and can open doors for more career opportunities in the future for you.
