Candidates who have successfully cleared their 10+2 examination in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects can apply for the admission in B.Sc course and there is no need to give any entrance examination for the same as admissions are done on merit basis.

You need Biology as compulsory in addition to Physics and Chemistry for admission.

Most of the central institutions and some state or reputed ones too need you to appear for the entrance exam.

You need to score the minimum scoring marks of PCB combination. In certain situations, your CS will be taken as optional subject and its marks won't be taken in account for biology seats. What you need to do is apply for admission while simultaneously preparing for compartment. By the time of admissions there is high probability that compartment result be declared beforehand.

It is a diverse subject that covers many biological aspects of living organisms including the subject areas of Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Ecology, Genetics and Molecular Biology.
