B.Tech in chemical engineering has lot of scope as compared to B.Sc. in Chemistry but scope in chemical engineering open only when you completed your B.Tech from decent college. Yes, you can pursue M.Sc in nanotechnology. Bachelor's degree in any specialisation is the only requirement for M.Sc in nanotechnology.

Basic eligibility for admission in Jadavpur University for B.Sc chemistry is that candidate must have cleared their class 12th examination with mandatory subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2. Candidate must have secured minimum 65% marks for General Category, 58.5% of marks for OBC Category, 48% of marks for SC and ST Category and 40% of marks for PWD Category in mandatory subjects.
