B.Sc. Eligibility

The candidate need to complete class 12 with 40% (for ST/SC 35% aggregate) aggregate from a recognised board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or equivalent board. The selectio criteria for BSc at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University is merit-based.

Admission to the BSc courses and the integrated BSc course is merit-based. Candidates are admitted based on performance in the last qualifying examination. The selected students may have to participate in the counselling round as well for seat allotment. After seat allotment, candidates have to submit some amount of the fee to confirm their seat.

For admission to the Presidency University, Kolkata , WBJEEB is conducted and PUMDET and PUBDET exams for PG and UG are considered for getting into this college. However, from the academic batch of 2021-22, WBJEEB has cancelled both these exams and admission will strictly be based on merit scores obtained by the students at the undergraduate level and Class 12 for PG and UG admission, respectively

For final selection, candidates need to clear NCHMCT JEE and attend counselling organised by NCHMCT.

Candidates need to clear Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board to be eligible for BSc admission.

 For BSc admission, candidates need to clear Class 12 in any stream with English as a compulsory subject from a recognised board.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to UG courses is to pass 10+2 with at least 45% marks in aggregate. DU admission 2023 to all UG courses will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) conducted by NTA followed by e-counselling.
