In order to pursue an MSc Physics at IIT Delhi or any other IIT you typically need a background in Physics and Mahematics during your UG studies.
You generally cannot get admission to MSc. Physics in IIT's without having studied Mathematics during your BSc. It is a vital requirements for the eligibility for the IIT JAM exam and the MSc. Physics program.

Ranchi University has not formally announced the start of admissions for the 2025–2026 academic year for the B.Sc. Mathematics programme as of February 15 2025.
