Although there are many other streams available, but these seem to be the most sought after fields after MBBS, BDS and some other medicine related programs.

For Lateral Entry BTech, BSc Candidates should have passed BSc. With Mathematics as a subject. The candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks from any recognised University. The candidates should have appeared in the IPU CET. The name of the candidate should be there in the merit list/rank list.

The code for different BTech programmes offered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) are: The code of B.Tech LE (Diploma) is 128, B.Tech LE B.Sc. Is 129, B.Tech (Biotechnology) is 130, and B.Tech is 131.
