Educational Qualification: You must have passed the 10+2 level examination from a recognised board or university with Science subjects Physics Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics) and English as a mandatory subject. Minimum Marks: You need to score a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the course.

The course is recognised by Government of Karnataka - Student may choose a single major along with one minor:
Major Subject- Psychology (Compulsory) Minor Subjects Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Food Science and Nutrition/ Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/ Food technology/ Environmental Science/ Nutrition and Dietetics/ Computer Science/Biostatistics (any one subject can be selected). It is good there but not the best as compared to other colleges.
