The MLT described as Medical Lab Technician. MLT is a 3 year Diploma course. The course is a type add on course which enhances your technique and get used to the equipment. Generally government do not provide the MLT courses but there are College which are associated with the college. For getting admission in these college you have to be very quick in the admission window because it is On the First Come basis.

After the 12th Class Boards Exam, there are various entrance exams and each entrance exams has its own criteria and rules and regulation. But in general, a candidate must have 65% in 12th class boards exam to appear in any if the entrance examinations.

The basic eligibility criteria is
Candidates must have cleared 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45% or above. Candidates must have done 10+2 in subjects such as Physics Chemistry Biology as their core subjects. Candidates of Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes category must have scored a minimum of 40% or above in their class 12th. Candidates who are in their final term and are about to appear for their final examination can also apply for this course.

Yes the basic eligibility criteria is
Candidates who wish to apply for these courses need to have qualified for the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course after attaining the 10+2 or equivalent qualification, preferably with Science subjects. Candidates not having done GNM are required to have a Certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months. Candidates should also be Registered Nurse/ Registered Midwives or equivalent with any of the State Nursing Registration Councils.
