Qualifying LPU NEST and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry)
or (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture)
or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST are the requirements for B.Sc. Hons Agriculture. LPU is the first private university to be accredited by the ICAR. Students are exposed to commercial farms (100 acres) and farm know-how, which allows them to engage and hone their endurance, confidence, and managerial abilities. They were also involved in 6-month full-scale cultivation practice of seasonal crops, from land preparation through harvesting and sale of the final goods, in order to gain agricultural expertise. Profits from group sales are completely divided among the students. The School of Agriculture faculty members have the largest number of PhDs among all faculty members at LPU.
