If you have an inborn interest in cooking and exploring various cuisines from different countries, nutrition and dietetics is one subject that will help you explore how to design controlled diets. Based on the body mass index, you can design your own food charts that would summarize the number of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins which must be consumed every day. LPU gives you all the opportunities to excel in your course and be a perfectionist. In addition to core curricula, the course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Visits to Aanganwadis and NGOs creating awareness about nutrition among the masses are an important part of the curriculum.
