IISc Bangalore follows reservation policy according to the rules of Indian government for admission in its BSc programme. PwD candidates with at least 40% impairment are given 5% horizontal reservation. There is one seat reserved in Supernumerary for Kashmiri Migrants / Kashmiri Pandit / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants).

No, IISc Bangalore does not offer direct admission in BSc. Candidates need to fulfill eligibility criteria and clear the IISc cutoff of JEE (Advance) to get admission. Otherwise, they need to take IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) and clear the cutoff according to their category for admission.
