Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination Diploma from a recognized state or central board.He/she must have obtained at least 50% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) marks at 10+2 or equivalent level with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as a subject of studies. He/ She shall not be having any Supplementary or Compartment in any of the subject/Subjects at 10+2 or equivalent level that is yet to be cleared at the time of taking admissions.

Since genetic engineering is a highly research-oriented field, Ph.D is imperative if you want to climb up the ladder at work.
