To become a registered dietician in India, it is important for you to get registered with Indian Dietetic Association (IDA) and write an exam conducted by IDA. The candidate must have completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics or a M.Sc. In Food & Nutrition, followed by a 6 months internship, to become eligible to write the exam.
