In the next step, the received applications are scanned for eligibility fulfilments. Selection is further done based on performance in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12. The minimum eligibility criteria required by the university to get admissions into BSc courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 from Science stream (PCB/ PCM). In addition, for admission to some of the BSc specialisation, candidates from any stream can apply. Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories). Moreover, for admission, the university releases the merit of selected candidates after evaluating candidates' achieved scores in higher senior secondary/ Class 12.
