A big no. Pursuing an MD in Cardiology after completing a BSc in Cardiovascular Technology is not typically a direct path.
To specialize in Cardiology as a medical doctor, you would generally need to pursue MBBS. After completing MBBS, you would need to undergo further specialisation (MD or MS) in cardiology through a residency program.
This pathway involves several years of rigorous medical education and clinical training to become a qualified cardiologist.
