There are 119 BSc Forensic Science colleges in India. Out of which 112 are private and 9 are government. However, Kerala alone has only two colleges for Forensic Science courses, which are:

Located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is a government university. The Indian Government Ministry of Home Affairs founded it in 2006. The first and only forensic science-focused university in India is NFSU.
