Admission to the BSc in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology is mostly based on merit in Class 12th (PCB stream), although some institutes may conduct their own entrance tests.
When entrance exams are conducted, they typically include questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Basic English/Logical Reasoning. The syllabus for such exams is generally based on the NCERT curriculum of Class 11th and 12th, with a focus on core Science concepts.

The placement statistics for specific BSc courses have not been released on the official website of the university. However, as per the verified Shiksha reviews of the students and alumni of the BSc course, the placements are decent. On the contrary, many of the reviews mentioned their dissatisfaction towards the placements by the university. Conclusively, for some students, the university offers good placement packages to BSc graduates, and some of the students did not get any benefits from the university for their placements.

The 2025 cutoff for the BSc programme at the Central University of Haryana has not been released yet. However, the cutoff for the academic year in the previous years shows a fluctuating trend.
