Sanjay Ghodawat University awards various scholarships to the deserving and needfull BSc students. The scholarships are provided to the students on the basis of their merit and scores achieved in Class 12. Moreover, the university also offers a loyalty scholarship to the students who have completed their Class 12 from Sanjay Ghodawat institutions. Candidates can also get minority scholarships through NSP

Junagadh Agricultural University provides a BSc in two specialisations, i.e., Agriculture & Horticulture, with a course duration of four years. The total BSc seats offered in Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry and Food Science and Technology specialisations is 65. To get a seat in this programme,  essential eligibility criteria are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education from Science stream. Additionally, another eligibility requirement is to qualify for merit, which the university releases on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their Class 12 or equivalent.

The course fee for the BSc programmes at Junagadh Agricultural University has not yet been announced. According to the JAU fee structure, students have to pay the first installment of the course fee when they are shortlisted for admission. They will also be asked to pay certain one-time charges, such as a security deposit, admission fee, etc.

All the students who have taken admission to BSc courses at Sanjay Ghodawat University need to present some important documents before joining the classes. The names of the documents are as follows: 

  • A recent passport-size photograph
  • Aadhar Card
  • Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate

To be eligible for the BSc course at Junagadh Agricultural University, a candidate should have passed Class 12 in the Science stream (PCB) with English as a main subject from a recognised board or university in Gujarat, or any equivalent exam acceptable to the university. Currently, the dates for the commencement of classes for the BSc batch of 2025 have not been released. However, as per the previous academic calendar, the classes commenced on July 25, 2024. Therefore, it can be anticipated that for this academic year, the classes for BSc courses at SGU Kolhapur will commence on similar dates.

Yes, Sanjay Ghodawat University does offer BSc courses for the duration of three to four years. Further, it is divided into six to eight semesters. Moreover, the university offers BSc courses through various schools-—the School of Life Science, the School of Physical & Chemical Science, and the School of Design. The basic eligibility requirement to get admission into BSc courses is that candidates must complete their Class 12 from Science stream. However, for BSc courses under the School of Design, candidates from any stream can apply for the course.
