The IIT Madras B.S. in Medical Sciences and Engineering is perhaps one of the new programs that seek to blend medical sciences and engineering into one. The admission to this program will be through the JEE Advanced examination, and the candidate should also fulfill eligibility criteria as well as have to contend with cutoffs according to his rank. The course has an internship in a hospital associated with it and aims to bridge theory with practical hands-on experience. The actual specifics of the cutoff will depend on how candidates perform in JEE Advanced and the subsequent counselling.
