Aspirants seeking admission to SKUAST BSc (Hons) must complete Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with PCB/ PCM/ PCBM/ Agriculture (with Science subjects), besides English with 50% aggregate for OM, NRI/ NRI-sponsored category. The aggregate required is 40% for reserved categories. Candidates from states/ UTs other than Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh can only seek admission under the NRI/ NRI sponsored quota for BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture and against Self Financing, seats for PG courses kept under the All India Basis category.

The qualification for BSc in Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology is twelve years of school education with 45% aggregate recognised board. However, the college accepts 40% of students belonging to SC and ST categories. Admission to the BSc course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam.
