St. Xavier’s College accepts Calcutta University Entrance Exam, as the entrance to the BSc programme. Candidates are selected for the BSc programme based on their performance in the entrance exam. However, in the case of a BSc programme, only the Calcutta University Entrance Exam is required as the entrance examination. Any candidate seeking admission to the BSc programme has to register for Calcutta University Entrance Exam invariably and prepare accordingly, as admission depends upon performance in that test.
