Admission to the BSc programme at Medziphema Campus is entrance-based, with key exams including CUET and ICAR AIEEA. CUET 2025 is being conducted from May 13 to June 3, while ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 is scheduled for July 3. Admit cards, correction windows, and results for both exams will roll out between May and August 2025.

Dr. C.V. Raman University Bihar offers BSc courses for the duration of three to four years. Only the BSc in Agriculture is offered for four years; the rest of the BSc specialisations are offered for three years. Admissions to Dr. C.V. Raman University's BSc course are both entrance  and merit based. Candidates can appear for the CUET UG entrance exam in order to participate in the admission process. Candidates are shortlisted for the course based on their performance in the entrance exam. Moreover, the university also gives the admissions on the basis of merit, which is evaluated on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their Class 12/ higher senior secondary or equivalent.

For admissions to BSc courses at Dr. C.V. Raman University, candidates are required to complete their Class 12 in PCB/PCM subjects. The subject differentiation differs according to the chosen specialisations. Moreover, for some specialisations, the university accepts candidates only from PCB streams or PCM/PCB streams. In addition, for admission to the BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, candidates from only the PCM stream can apply.

BSc Agriculture programme at Nagaland University – Medziphema Campus is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. It includes 176 credit hours in total, 136 for regular coursework and 40 under the Student READY Programme. The READY segment further breaks into 20 credit hours for ELP and 20 for AIA & RAWEP (10+10 each).

The admission process for the BSc course at AISECT University Hazaribagh and DVRU Bihar is almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from the recognised board of education in Science stream. Moreover, the selection process is based on merit in both universities. However, DVRU Bihar also accepts CUET UG scores for admissions to BSc courses.
