You can definitely get lateral entry admission to the BTech Aeronautical Engineering course after completing a 3-year diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with at least 50 to 55% marks.

The lateral entry provision allows you to directly enter the 2nd year of BTech Aeronautical Engineering, making the UG course shorter and budget-friendly for you. Popular institutes like the Feroze Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology and Manipal Institute of Technology offer this option.

Some might prefer to enter into the job market right after completing their graduation because it gives a sense of financial security at an early age making youngsters like you feel more independent. On the other hand, some people might prefer to pursue M.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering as it will give them an edge over others in terms of advanced knowledge and technical expertise.

You must assess your skill set and think about your interest areas in order to make a wise decision. Best wishes!
