If you're a PCB student and want to pursue B.Tech in Biotechnology at VIT? Vellore, you must appear in the VITEE? E exam. You must also have scored at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (50% for SC/ST or North? East). Admission is based on your VITEEE rank followed by counselling.

A 3000 rank in TS EAMCET 2025 should be sufficient to secure a seat in B.Tech Biotechnology at CBIT (Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology). Whether you can do a bridge course depends on the specific programme and the policies of CBIT. Generally, bridge courses are designed for students with a Diploma or those who need to fulfill specific prerequisites for a degree program. It's best to directly contact CBIT's admissions or biotechnology department to inquire about the possibility of a bridge course after joining their B.Tech Biotechnology program.

With PCB in 12th, you can apply for B.Tech Biotechnology at ITM Lucknow and SRMU Lucknow, which accepts Biology students with a minimum of 45% marks. Admission is through JEE Main, CUET, or direct entry. Some universities may require PCM, so check specific eligibility before applying.

No, B.Tech Biotechnology is not offered directly by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU). While RTMNU offers various engineering programs, a search for "B.Tech Biotechnology" at the university does not yield any relevant results. Several other colleges in Nagpur do offer the program, so you'll need to explore those options.

With a JEE Main percentile of ~83, your All India Rank is likely around 150,000–200,000. Unfortunately, that's well above the closing ranks for B.Tech Biotechnology at NITs, which typically cap around 30,000–50,000 .So, no NIT is available for Biotechnology with your rank. Mechanical also would be out of reach. These branches close much earlier in counselling rounds.

To take admission in B.Tech Biotechnology, the primary eligibility is to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Since you have got taken PCB and surpassed JEE Mains, you are eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology in lots of colleges that accept Biology college students.

However, no longer all faculty members accept PCB students through JEE Main. Some institutes may additionally require Mathematics as a compulsory difficulty, even for B.Tech in Biotechnology. But many non-public universities and a few authorities colleges do admit PCB students into this direction. Always check th
