The B.Tech Biotechnology department usually has good labs for practical learning, especially in molecular biology and bioinformatics. Internships are part of the course and offered in pharma and research companies. Placements are decent, with core jobs in biotech, though many students also get into IT roles. Higher studies can boost career options.

With a 26,000 rank in BiPC and BC? B category, you have decent chances for B.Tech in Biotechnology in good colleges. For example, Andhra University's cutoff for BiPC general was around 21–22k, so BC? B rank could secure a seat. VIT Vellore and Thapar University also accept BiPC students through exams like VITEEE. Focus on applying through state counselling or entrance exams to explore these options.
