Manipur University's BTech course is offered via its affiliated college, Manipur Institute of Technology. The course is delivered across multiple specialisations, including Computer Science and Engineering. The eligibility criteria for the CSE course are Class 12 with 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) in any one of the subjects: Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science.

If your JEE Mains rank is around 5 lakhs, you might want to look into state-level colleges or private institutions for a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE). Unfortunately, getting into National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other top government colleges could be a stretch at that rank, especially for the highly sought-after CSE program.

Tezpur University offers BTech in Computer Science Engineering as a full-time course lasting for four years. Find below the eligibility criteria for Tezpur University BTech CSE:
- Class 12 standard or equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent grade point, where applicable and pass marks or equivalent grade point in i) Physics, ii) Mathematics, ii) Language, iv) Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical vocational subject (any one of them) and v) any other subject and qualifying JEE.

Admissions to BTech CSE at Saroj Institute of Technology and Management Lucknow are based on the scores obtained in the qualifying exam as well as the scores obtained in the entrance exam, which is JEE Mains. To get admitted to NIMS Institute of Engineering and Technology, NIMS University, for B.Tech CSE, you must have passed 12th with PCM as compulsory subjects. The minimum should be 50% marks in PCM together, not in PCM together with other subjects.
